Polygraphic “heart” of our company — five sheet-fed offset printing machines produced by Heidelberg, a worldwide leader in the field of printing equipment. Our park of sheet-fed printing machines can produce up to 20 mln of full-size printed sheets per month.

 

A special pride of our company are duo-machine Speedmaster CD 102-IY-6+LX ready for printing with UV-ink and machine with sheet tumbling Speedmaster SM 102 8R that prints on both sides of a sheet at a time, which leads to the essential increase of the efficiency of carrying out orders for magazine and advertising printing.

To control printed product quality our company has the system of colour measurement ImageControl developed by Heidelberg. This system can automatically operate with four printing machines simultaneously. For efficient operation of ImageControl a print worker has only to scan printed sheet with full-size scanner and thereafter the system shall normalize the press level on its own, restoring it to ok-sheet.

Climate control system Axima provides optimum conditions of work with thin label and metallized paper, which is very important for securing stability of printing and post-printing processes.

Offset printing machine Heidelberg Speedmaster CD 102-IY-6+LX (dou-technology).This machine has 6 colour sections, 2 lacquering sections and 1 flexo section for printing with water dispersive inks. It is equipped with combination of three intermediate hot air drying and UV.

It allows to:

  • dry print using thick layers of finishing coat;
  • use water silver and gold with increased luster;
  • imprint water thermochromic holograms and other trick effects;
  • complete combination of UV dryings allows to combine oil-UV technologies efficiently, to work with metallized surfaces and plastics.

Two offset printing machines Heidelberg Speedmaster CD 102-6+L. These machines have automated control system. Format 720x1020mm. Output: 10-12 thousand sheets per hour.

Offset printing machine Heidelberg Speedmaster CD 102-7+L. This machine has 7 colour sections and 1 lacquering section. Fully automated control system. Format 720x1020mm. Output: 10-12 thousand sheets per hour

Offset printing machine Heidelberg Speedmaster SM 102 8 P. 8 colour sections. Sheet tumbling. Format 720x1020mm. Output: 8-10 thousand sheets per hour.

Apart from the basic printing and post-press equipment, Mikkogroup has in its possession an extensive range of the prepress and auxiliary equipment. Hence, we provide for the complete closed production cycle, being able to control the quality of our products at each particular stage.

Plotter KongsbergXE is used to perform cutting, scoring and drawing operations on materials of various types. The plotter can also imitate scratching and perforating processes, thus, enabling to cut box designs to follow as much as possible finished articles, as well as to complete short-run orders.

Ink production processes

The ink production section furnished with the following electronic balance and ink mixing apparatuses: IGTTesting System, GretagMacbeth SpectroEye Spectrophotometer, TP AKTIPRINT UV-Tester CONNEX Mishsystem, FAST & FLUID Shaker SO400, CollomixDYNAX400, BUSH FM 12. Special programs are made use of for pantone mixing, library maintenance and ink digital accounting processes.

Raw materials stocking processes

The sheet stocking section is equipped with the powerful Appolo 4-roll sheeting machine. Roll width: up to 1600 mm, density of material under knife: up to 500 g/m2. The high speed and adequate accuracy of the process allows to process monthly up to 1000 tons of paper. The pile feeding and stacking fully automatic machine Polar assures the most accurate preparation of sheets to produce labels with their images being centered with a high degree of precision. A slitter is used to stock the roll materials and foil.

Printing block production for hot-pressing operations

  • The IMPALA 560S milling-and-engraving automatic machine is used to make cylindrical and flat stamping clishes. In CIS, only few models of similar equipment are in service. As a rule, printing works order blocks in Europe, which makes delivery time much longer and, consequently, makes changes in embossed label or package designs less flexible.
